Recently Bart has been consultant for startups that provide software and mobile solutions. Previously, Bart enhanced Voice over IP (VoIP) products and created a new product line at Aspect Communications. For of the joint venture between Intel and Lernout & Hauspie, he created solutions that used Natural Language Understanding to build e-commerce solutions. He delivered and supported highly available IT, Voice, Video and data solutions resulting in 40% cost savings for FLV Telecom in Belgium. He was responsible for network design at the European Space Agency in the Netherlands and the United Nations and managed IT operations and application development at the United Nations and at other locations. Bart combines out-of-the box thinking substantiated with real life experience and solid know-how of market needs, product management, IT management, team management and software development.
Bart received a MSc equivalent in micro electronics engineering at the Industri-ele Hogeschool in Belgium.
